Sarah Atenhan - Instructor

Sarah Atenhan has been studying dance since the age of 3, beginning at the Academy of Movement and Music in her hometown, Oak Park, IL. There she studied ballet, modern, jazz and flamenco before continuing her studies at Lou Conte Dance Studio. While in high school, Sarah choreographed and performed with the award winning Oak Park and River Forest High School Orchesis Dance Company where her piece, "Until I Burst" was chosen to perform at Dance Chicago.

Sarah graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Dance. While in school, she performed and choreographed with the University's Dance Department and 3Spot Dance Troupe.

Sarah continues to teach workshops and perform in the Chicagoland area. She is currently a company member with ology dance (under director Melissa Mallinson) and is a guest artist with Chicago Dance Crash (under director Mark Hackman), Chicago Freelance Dance, and Goldberg Entertainment.
